TUITION Deposit
Once an opening becomes available, a two-week deposit is required to reserve a child’s place in the class. That deposit is held until the child leaves the school at which time the deposit is used to offset the amount of the final monthly tuition invoice.
Tuition Payment
Tuition is due the first of each month; for those wishing to make two payments per month instead of one lump sum, half the invoice may be paid by the first of each month and the second half by the 15th of each month.
All monthly tuition must be paid in full by the 15th of each month. A $25 late fee will be assessed for late payment.
Tuition amounts currently in effect are as follows:
Full time: $265 per week
Full day: $60 per day (3 days of attendance required per week)
Half day: $38 per half day AM or PM slot (4 days of attendance required per week)
Please note that in September each year the tuition will increase by 2%.
Annual Materials Fee
There is a $80 materials fee yearly. This covers the cost of Raptor Center visit each Spring, pony visit each May, Cinco de Mayo, and other party and fun activities.
WATER CUP POLICY
We at LHMS feel strongly about reducing the amount of waste we produce. In an effort to save the amount of paper cups being thrown away, we provide each child with their own cup to use while at school. Each child is given a metal cup with their first and last name on the outside; the cups are located near the water fountain, where the children can access their cup at any time. The cups are hung by its handle on a hook with a corresponding photo of the child so they are more easily able to locate which hook belongs to them.
Water cups are washed and sanitized daily.
The LHMS water cups belong to the school, therefore they are not to be taken home.
*Due to COVID-19, we are currently suspending the use of re-usable cups; paper cups are available to the children.
Billing
Invoices are emailed to families via ProCare, the last week of each month. If you believe your invoice is incorrect, contact the Director or Bookkeeper.
Schedule Changes
Any changes in schedule need to be given in writing two weeks in advance to the Administrative Director; Schedule changes may or may not be given based on the number of children and staffing, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Enrollment Suspension Due to Non-Payment
The Parent board and Director maintain the right to suspend enrollment immediately when an account is 30 days past due (For example, if February invoice has not been paid by Feb. 28, suspension will occur on March 1). If suspension occurs, and we are unable to collect any past-due tuition, within a reasonable timeframe, a bill-collecting agency will be contacted.
Family Vacations and/or Child Absent
While we request that you notify the teachers if your child will not be attending on any particular day(s), there is no tuition reimbursement when your child is on vacation and/or is absent for whatever reason.
Adult BehaviorAL ExpectationS
All adults in the preschool, including parents, are expected to behave in a pleasant, friendly and respectful manner towards children, teachers, parents, and visitors. It is expected that there will be no physical discipline of children and no threats, verbal or otherwise, towards the humiliation of children, teachers, or parents in the program. Incidences of such behaviors will be addressed by the Director and may be grounds for termination of enrollment.
Notice oF leaving
LHMS requires a 2-week notice before removing your child from school. You will be billed for 2 weeks of fees if notice is less than 2 weeks. This allows LHMS to contact a family on the waiting list.
